Ngorongoro Crater Camp

Perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater at 2,300 metres, this intimate tented camp offers front-row seats to one of Africa's most spectacular natural amphitheatres. Ten spacious tents are positioned along the crater edge, each with heated interiors, en-suite bathrooms, and private verandas overlooking the caldera floor where an estimated 25,000 large animals roam. Crater floor excursions depart at dawn for the best wildlife encounters — the crater is one of the few places in Tanzania where you can reliably see the Big Five in a single day. Evening meals are served in the candlelit mess tent, and a crackling campfire provides the perfect setting for sharing safari stories under the Southern Cross.
