This tour departs from Dar es Salaam and takes you to Saadani National park located in Eastern Coastal beach of Indian Ocean in Tanzania, near the historic city of Bagamoyo and Pangani and the Island Zanzibar where on lucky days, you can meet Lion at Saadani beach. Days3 Days

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Saadani National Park

In the morning, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive you to Saadani National Park where bush meets the bush via Chalinze/Msata. You will arrive in the afternoon, on-time for lunch at the lodge. Late in the afternoon, we’ll have a game drive in the park to look for elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, waterbuck, lion, leopard, baboon and much more. You will have dinner & Overnight at lodge booked on Half Board basis.

Located in the centre of the historic triangle of Bagamoyo, Pangani and Zanzibar, Saadani National Park covers 1100 km². It is the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania bordering the sea. The climate is coastal, hot and humid. It offers a unique combination of both marine and mainland flora and fauna in a culturally fascinating setting. About 30 species of larger mammals are present as well as numerous reptiles and birds. Besides many species of fish, Green turtles, Humpback whales (nyangumi) and dolphins (pomboo) also occur in the ocean nearby.

Day 2: Saadani National Park

In the morning, after breakfast, commence a morning and an afternoon game viewing in the park. Since the park is not very large, you can return to the lodge for hot lunch or you can take with you your picnic lunch to have a longer time in the wilderness. Later in the evening, as the sun goes down, spend time at the Saadani beach. Enjoying such an amazing experience, deleting unwanted issues from your heart and download a new app of a better life in your heart. Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge booked on full board arrangements.

Gazetted in 2005, it encompasses a preserved ecosystem including the former Saadani game reserve, the former Mkwaja ranch area, the Wami River as well as the Zaraninge Forest. Many villages exist around the boundaries of the Park. In 1969, when Saadani Game Reserve was officially created, Saadani village elders were consulted and the loss of cultivated land was compensated for. Before being included in the national park, the Zaraninge Forest was managed by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) whose goal was to preserve the extremely high botanical diversity of one of the last coastal rainforests remaining in Tanzania.

Day 3: Saadani National Park , Boat Safari and Walking in the Reserve

After breakfast, go for a boat excursion on the Wami River, which offers the best boat safari in Tanzania to see flocks of flamingos, hippos, crocs and other waterbirds OR commence a guided walking tour in the wilderness with an armed ranger guide. Return to the lodge for early lunch, and leave the park to travel back to Dar es Salaam.
