Days5 Days

Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi

Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll meet with one of our drivers/guides and be given a  complimentary safari hat. It’s the BEST way to start your African safari in Kenya. The travel to your hotel is about 25 minutes, depending on the traffic. Check in at your hotel and have your leisure by relaxing and unwinding in the hotel.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha

Depart after breakfast for an afternoon Game Drive in Bougaria. In the  evening, drive to Lake Naivasha and enjoy the scenery.

This is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. The lake is almost 13kms across, but its waters are shallow with an average depth of five metres. Lake area varies greatly according to rainfall, with an average range between 114 and 991 km². At the beginning of the 20thCentury, Naivasha completely dried up and effectively disappeared. The resulting open land was farmed, until heavy rains a few years later caused the lake to return to existence, swallowing up the newly established estates.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha- Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, we’ll a game drive en route to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy your lunch at the lodge and then proceed to an afternoon game drive.

After enjoying your afternoon Kenyan tea and coffee, head out for an exciting game viewing adventure. Search some of the area’s wildlife hotspots that will be determined by your driver guide, as they’ve learned and now understand the games daily routines through tracking. Some wildlife is more difficult than others to spot. Fr an instance, Leopards. These spotted cats blend almost seamlessly into the tall grass and shrubbery and are even more challenging to spot in their favourite hangout, the trees. Your guide will take you to nearby watering holes, where on a hot day, you might spot many bird and wildlife species, including the elusive cats.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, resume game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Back to lodge in the afternoon for lunch and continue the game drive.

The Wildebeest Migration is one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World” and also known as The World Cup of Wildlife. If there is a safari you should go on, this has to be it. The Maasai Mara and the Serengeti National Park together form what no other reserve or park in Africa can! It is incredible, it is magical, it is undescribable and it is a must-see!

Day 5: Masai Mara - Departure

Depart after breakfast in Tarangire for a full day game drive. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha and to the airport for your flight back home. Drop off will be according to your time schedule.
