Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, situated at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The scenic 4-hour drive crosses Maasai and Kamba country, with views of the mountain growing ever more dramatic. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive as elephants parade across the marshes with Kilimanjaro towering behind them.
Day 2
Full Day in Amboseli National Park
A full day of game drives in Amboseli. The morning drive takes you to the marshes, where hippos wallow, elephants feed on papyrus, and jacanas walk across the lily pads. Climb Observation Hill for a 360-degree panorama of the park and the mountain. The afternoon drive explores the dry lake bed and acacia woodlands, where lion, cheetah, and hyena are frequently spotted.
Day 3
Amboseli to Diani Beach
